John Grzinich is a sound and media artist originally from the US, but now lives in Estonia. For the past 3 years he has worked as the media lab and program coordinator for MoKS. He is visiting Ljubljana on his way to perform in Belgrade and Zagreb.

MoKS -Center for Art and Social Practice, started in 2001 as a non-profit, artist-run organization is rural southeast Estonia. MoKS has an artist-in-residence program, hosts a International Summer Art Symposium and offers regular workshops by artists.
John Grzinich will give a brief introduction to MoKS through its programs and projects like its International Summer Art Symposium "PostsovkhoZ" that happened from 2001-2006. The talk aims to open topics on how artists can use different methods and strategies to adapt to the social and environmental context in which they work. http://moks.ee/
